Cleaning and stain removal

Surface cleaning aims to safely remove dust and dirt that has accumulated over time, without damaging the original material.

Kintsugi restauratie met Japanse lakken en goudpoeder

Kintsugi

Kintsugi involves repairing fractures in ceramics with gold or silver, turning the damage into an aesthetically enhancing element. This emphasises the history and beauty of an object.

Traditional Kintsugi uses Japanese lacquers and real gold powder. In addition, a modern variant with preservative-suitable glue and gold (coloured) paint can also be used for a more reversible result.
